Jasmine cuts 7 inches

Jasmine decided to get a new look. She cut it all off. I think it looks great. The picture I have is not that great. For some reason my picture that I take inside don't come out that great. You can tell the cut she has.

A Shrine of Grandkids

When Ruthie and Ron were in Branson, MO, they got a shrine made of Jasmine, Lance, and Karina. This store they found made pictures in sticker form to go on the back of their truck. It is beautiful and definitely unique. Let's see what you think! I think it is awesome.

Grandma Judy visits!

My mom came to see us and meet Karina. She flew in for about 10 days. We had a great time relaxing. Mom met Karina for the first time and fell in love. She couldn't believe how big Lance was. We did some shopping and hanging out by the pool. Diane had us over for dinner which was a treat. We were sad to see her go. Can't wait til she visits us next time. Since she is retired now, she can come anytime.

Jasmine in NJ

I love these pictures of my mom and Wendy with Jasmine. I think they came out great. Jasmine had a great time in NJ with my mom, dad, and Wendy. She had a blast at the beach. Parasailing was awesome as she would say. I am so blessed that she gets to fly and visit my family every summer.
Can't find the one of Wendy and Jasmine. Will post later!

2nd Annual Family BBQ- July 19th Part 2

More pictures!

2nd Annual Family BBQ- July 19th

Since Rob was off using his vacation time, we thought we would have everyone over. Well did we have a surprise when the corner of the deck dropped about 12 inches. There must of been too many people in the corner. We think a couple screws came loose. Boy that was a surprise. We quickly moved the table to the other side. It needs to be jacked up. Despite that we had a wonderful day. Ally and Lance really love playing with each other. Once again we had the competition with the alligator. Everyone tries to hop aboard him. Can't wait til the 3rd annual!

St. Joseph Mustangs Baseball

On July 18th we went to the baseball game. It was the last game for the season. It was a good time. We saw the best fireworks ever. We took all the kids. Karina did't mind the firecrackers, but she didn't like the people cheering. Jas invited her friend, Amy. They walked around for hours. Lance just loved eating cotton candy. He was interested on and off with the ball game. We had a great time especially because Rob was off that night and not working.

Updates needed

I have been reading Facebook lately. I haven't been keeping up with the blog. Most of you are saying, "What's new!". Here it is.

What a precious smile!

Bowling is a sport

We took the kids bowling on Monday. It was the first time for Lance. We went with Nickie and her kids. Lance and Tage have become great friends. Lance was beating Jas's score in the beginning even with the bumpers. She slowly but surely won the game. It was some great fun.

Baby Dedication this past Sunday

Pastor Jim is praying for Karina.

Lots of babies are being born to our church families.

Karina was dedicated to the Lord this past Sunday. There are a lot of babies at our church now. It was a nice ceremony. The pictures are not that good since Jas did not go to the front to take pictures. My zoom is not the best.

Aquatic Park on July 10th

Lance sliding down fast.
These are the tube slides. I went the green one and was scared. I
think I almost hyperventilated.

Lance under the waterfall and looks like he is drowning.

Tage and Lance

Jas, Lance, and Kelsey

My friend, Nickie and I, took the kids to the water park here in St. Joseph. Parents as Teachers opened it up to kids for 2 hours. It is a small park, but the kids had fun. Tage and Lance have become great friends. Jas had her friend, Kelsey, with her. Everyone had a great time.

Zuchini is in!

My squash is here. I hope I have enough to make some bread. Last night I fried some and grilled some on the grill. It was YUMMY! Nothing beats fresh veggies!

Pool Season begins!

Jas and Lance having a blast!
Karina chilling out with a catnap!

What a life!

Lance with his floaties. A new chapter!

Karina's area

We haven't been in the pool much because of the temperature. It was really cold at 72%, but then the humidity set in. In the matter of four or five days, it has jumped to 78% then yesterday 82%. Lance is swimming in floats now, and I hope to keep teaching him to swim. I had a tent from the beaches in California that I put out on the deck for Karina. I wasn't going to put her in the pool just yet until she woke up sweating in her bouncer. I felt so bad. I made a shaded cover for her with my beach umbrella, and she was in. I tried her when the pool was 78%, and she liked it, but when the pool was 82% she started sleeping on the float. Jas and Lance will swim in 70% or above. It has been crazy hot here for the past week. I mean at midnight it is still about 80% with awful humidity. Thank God for the pool.

Potty Training Miracle

Lance has been so difficult to teach until the miracle DVD from Huggies arrived. I was watching it to get ideas, and he said he wanted to watch it. I put it in his room and WHAM! He started to pee in his little potty. He had been doing #2 in the big potty for a while. I only have accidents from him in his pull-up now. Now I have to conquer going out. He does even like the potty in my bathroom just the one in the main bathroom. I guess the biggest battle is over.

Our smiling girl!

Here is the precious smile from Karina! And no it is not GAS!

Peters' kids are driving!!

Driving behind Jas
She is getting ready to go up the Belt Hwy.

Jas and Lance are driving around. The only difference is the size of the vehicle. Lance cruises with his Jeep (the one that Grandma Ruth brought across the country). Jas drives the MWSU Driver's Ed cars. She is taking a class to improve her driving. She gets her license in December. Look out world!
