Our Amish visit!

My mom came and visited us for 10 days. Our first adventure was to Jamesport which is Amish country. We had a great time. We took some pictures, but they are very upset if you take pictures of them or too many pictures. We actually got to go on the farms because their stores are right on their property.

When we returned from California, Jas made cookies with her brother. She had a great time. They love to spend the time together. Here is a few pictures.

I rode my first motorcycle when I was 15 so I thought it was time for Jas to experience it also. Our friend, Shawn, is the best rider we know and the only one we trust with our daughter. Jas was so excited at first, but then got cold feet. We had to push her out the door. Needless to say she has a great time and wanted to ride some more. I told her in time she will ride again.

Auntie's Day

We went to see Aunt Ralphene while there also. Uncle David and her miss us just as much as we miss them. She was so happy to see us. We had a nice visit with her. She just adores our kids. They are her grandchildren also.

I know I have a lot of catch up to do since I was MIA for a while, but I am going to try some tonight. We went to Lee's pool for the 4th. It was a HOT day in Cali, but we had a great time at his pool. We had a great BBQ and watched some fireworks from the Storm (minor league club), and the city. I must say they were the best fireworks I have seen since I moved to Elsinore in 2001. Go figure when I moved they got better.

They had become such friends during our trip. Both seemed to love the sand and water. Sarah taught Lance a wonderful monster face. Hopefully they can be great long distance friends.

Most nights we had a great campfire around the beach. At the beach we had grandma, Gina, Tori, Lauren, Sarah, and Lisa. We met a new friend Travis there also.

It seems like my summer has just flew by. It has been extremely busy. We went to California and had a great time. Not only did we get to visit with Grandma and Grandpa, we saw friends. Jasmine's BFF has grown so much. She is even taller than Jasmine which is taller than me. We were at the beach condos for a week. Then we visited for a week in Elsinore. What a great time! I definitely miss the beach! Here are some great pics!
