Happy Mother's Day

I want to wish everyone a blessed Mother's Day. At church this morning, Jim made a video about mothers that made me ball. It was such a great service. I am having an enjoyable day with my family. I hope everyone was honored in a wonderful way.

Happy Mother's Day to you, my family and precious friends!

Rob's Softball

Rob just began playing softball with our church team, EdgeCF.com. They have a great time together. They are still trying to win their first game, but are having a great time doing it. Here are some pic of Robo as we call him on the field. He loves playing with the team. Jas, Lance, and I are his cheerleaders.

BBQ

Sunday afternoon we had a great BBQ at Donita's house. We had a full house with Jim, Kacy, Max, Maddy, Mallory, Ben, Jessie, Kyle, Grace, Simon, Crystal, Bill, Ally, Diane, Jim, Donita, Phil, Aunt Carol, and of course us. The whole gang was there. The kids had a great time with each other. It was a beautiful day. The weather could not have been better.

A day at the pond

On Saturday night we had friends over to dinner. Their boys brought their fishing poles with them. We all had a great time. We have been catching fish out of the pond all the time. Of course, Rob had to get close and personal with a new fish he caught.

Graduation dress is bought!

This past Friday I had the pleasure of having 5 teenagers sleep over at my house. Jas asked me to take them to the mall dress shopping on Saturday morning. I agreed; however, I told them we had to go to the church yard sale to see if they needed any help first. All the girls agreed. We went shopping in the mall and found Jas's graduation dress. She looks fabulous in it. Luckily for me I got the dress on a doorbuster sale, but of course we had to have a necklace, earrings, and shoes to match. She sure looks beautiful. I cannot believe how fast she is growing up. Where has the time gone?

Big green machine

Lance is cruising around on his new bike. Grandma and Grandpa in New Jersey paid for the bike for his birthday. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. It is cool with motorcycle sounds and signals. He is having such a great time on it. He is talking so much now. Everyday he has a new word about the bike. He even decided to jump on it right after his bath. Maybe he thought it was his PJ's. Hopefully soon he will learn to use the pedals.

Sticks, Sticks, and more sticks

I have never seen so many sticks in my life. We have been cutting up branches and more branches for over a week now. We had part of one BIG tree fall in the front yard in front of the pond. Another tree decided to bend over in the back. That did not have as much debris. I have taken a picture of the HUGE pile we have in the front from just the front yard tree. We have two tee-pees in the back for the other tree, but at least it is done except for the burning festival.

Updates . . . . .

I am sorry that I have not updated in a while. I have been mad at myself that I have not done it. Unlike some of our friends, we have been having some nice weather. Rob and I have been trying to clear out all the trees from the ice storm. We have been using the chainsaw to cut them up. Luckily for us our neighbor insisted on helping. I will take a pic of all the debris. You will be amazed. We need to burn it!

Lance and Jas are doing great. With the weather, we have been fishing in the pond and exploring our new yard. Fighting the dandelions and weeds have been exhausting me. We had our garden turned over yesterday. Lance got his bike and loves it. Will post pictures this weekend.

Oh ya, Rob had his first softball game for the EdgeCF. Unfortunately they lost but had a great time playing. The women, of course, were all about the fellowship.

I will put more up this weekend.
