Lance turns 2, part 2!

I forgot to tell you all that I was in the tornado path we had last Thursday getting the supplies for his cake. Rob and Jas decided at the last minute they wanted me to make Lance's cakes. Look on Jessie's blog for the picture of the house that was lost. It happened about ten miles from us.

Here are some more pictures of his great day!

Lance turns 2 !!!

On Friday Lance turned 2! It is hard to believe that 2 years have gone by. We had a great time with him. Of course, he wanted pizza for dinner. Anytime you ask him what he wants he says pizza. He got some really cool gifts from everyone. We had Jim, Di, Crystal, Bill, Ally, Jessie, Kyle, Grace, and Simon over. The kids had a great time together. Luckily we had enough balls and balloons to go around.

Lance got trucks, cars, a dinosaur(which he was afraid of at first), a puzzle, and clothes. He will also be getting his bike soon!

We all had a great time together!

Lance's haircut

Well Rob was not a happy camper when I asked him to take Lance for a haircut. He does not like to see him cry. I told him it is a fact of life. We decided to try the beauty school in the area. Everything was going great, but right before Lance was done, he decided to turn his head when the gal was cutting. He has a little bit of a receding hair line on his forehead. Rob only paid $1.25 for the haircut. Who could complain? At first I was frightened to see him, but it was not bad at all. Here is the ham with the new haircut. I guess I have to wait a couple weeks to take him to get his 2 year old pics.

Jasmine's Victory

Last week Jas started trying out for the Central High School cheer squad. Boy was she surprised when told the squad would only be inviting 8 girls out of 25. Jas and her friend, Monica, had been practicing for two straight day in the basement. On Wednesday it was announced that Jas made the CHEER TEAM for Central. She was so excited and upset at the same time. She was the only gal from Truman Middle who made it.

We are so proud of her. It was awesome!!

Little Nascar Driver

On Tuesday after work, I went shopping at Sam's Club. When I pulled in the garage, Lance was waiting for me. Jas and I were unloading the car, and to our surprise Lance jumped in the backseat, hurdled the console to the driver's seat. He was the NEWEST Nascar Driver going "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". Jas ran to get the camera!!
